What I did last weekend?

As if you want to know huh? But if you want to read the (not-so) detailed post on my weekend visit rainydazeee for my wonderful first weekend of august. It’s where I blogged about our tiring and long walk. I’ve also placed few pictures so you can appreciate the beauty of Prague! Ciao!

Kid store for your kid’s needs

My little girl isn’t sleeping in her crib anymore. Every time we place her there even during the day, she would cry and complain.  She wants freedom and a big space to crawl around and play in. At night, she sleeps with us which for me is the best thing as I don’t have to get up and walk to the other room to feed her or comfort her when she cries.  But since she’s getting bigger, (almost a year old) I’m thinking its better if we buy her a bed of her own.  We should be training her early to sleep on her own especially that I’ll be weaning her soon.

Shopping for T-shirt souvenirs

During our walk last weekend, we stopped at several souvenir shops; what else but to buy souvenirs for ourselves and our friends back home!  When my parents were here, we weren’t able to do that because we were always in a hurry. 

So there we were, my sister and I, in the souvenir shop choosing bags, caps and t-shirts especially for Dad coz he’s fond of t-shirts.  I’m glad there were plenty of designs and colors available.  There were also some vintage t shirts designs that were very cool. My sister wanted to have a shirt for her too but their size small was still too big for her.  I teased her that its better if she makes her own shirt coz she can choose the size that will fit her perfectly, the specific design she likes and the color too just like the Vintage T-Shirt Store which gives their customers the freedom to create their own shirt.  The site has plenty of pretty and cool designs to choose from and they are categorized according to their designs.  If you are into music, flower, animal, or political designs, then go ahead and check out the site.  You will be overwhelmed, really! 

The weather fit for touring on foot

Going out yesterday was a good choice, compared to today’s strange weather; yesterday was sunny in fact too sunny to be comfortable.  But anyway it made possible touring Prague streets on foot easy. We managed to see many of Prague’s famous historical buildings and sites in just one day.  We ended up past 6 in the evening with very tired legs and flushed faces.

Losing weight with diet pills

Soon it will be a year since I gave birth to my daughter.  How’s my figure doing?  Though I didn’t really get big or piggy fat, what I’m concerned is that middle part of my body. Right! My belly!  It hasn’t gotten smaller yet, in fact it’s a bit bloating, not the Winnie the Pooh kind of thing but still I don’t like it at all!

With the diet pills’ popularity these days as an alternative way for losing weight, it makes me wonder if it can also lessen the flab in the tummy. I have yet to hear some positive comments or tips from people who took diet pills and have wonderful things to say about it. I know there are many people who are interested in slimming down yet they want to be sure if taking diet pills are safe for them.

Olympic pollution in China still a problem

In a week’s time, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games will start but still China hasn’t resolved the pollution problem its facing. Many athletes have withdrawn from the games because of the threat that the pollution poses on their health. Many factories have already been closed and constructions stopped in order to lessen the smog. From what I’ve heard in the news, workers whose jobs are interrupted because of the games won’t get paid at all. I feel sorry for them.
