A high-tech toilet in Berlin. I forgot how much it needs to operate it, maybe half euro or 1 euro. Anyway, it’s quite a relief having these city toilets around especially for travelers.
How it works:
to enter the toilet insert the amount indicated. Handicapped persons may use their euro-key.
the door opens and closes automatically. it can be opened at any time from the inside by pressing the “door open” button
use time is limited to 20 minutes. after a warning sound the door will open automatically.
the use of euro key makes the following features available…. bla, bla, etc…..
the toilet will be cleaned and disinfected after each use.
not a bad idea to charge for its use and it is kept clean - could be a problem though if you really have to go and don’t have a Euro to spare. happy ww
