The summer of last year I wasn’t able to tour around Europe as I had dreamed of because I was pregnant then. But this year, I hope I can visit many European cities. Summer has the perfect weather to explore the continent.
Some of the cities that tourists flock to are Rome, Paris, Venice and Amsterdam. Rome is famous for the St. Peters Basilica and also as the seat of the Catholic Church. Paris on the other hand, is known as the city of light and has the Eiffel tower as one of the most sought attractions in the city. Venice which is yet another city in Italy is known for its canals and gondolas. Its counterpart is Amsterdam which is named as the “Venice if the North” because of its canals and scenic sights.
There are many more cities in Europe to see. The big continent offer travelers many places to explore and its easy to hop from one place to another; by trains or by planes as long as you have the money and the stamina to go places. Budget conscious travelers can even save on accommodations by checking out last minute deals which they can view in these links:
