Naming our baby
April 22, 2007Until now we still don’t have any possible names for our future baby. I already have my own choice but hubby doesn’t seem to like it. According to him if ever it’s a girl, he wants to name it Cyndi, after his favorite artist Cyndi Lauper. Hmmm… I frown at that thought.
One night, a mischievous idea just popped out of my head. “Why don’t we name our baby Cyndi Kate? I asked Mart, smiling slyly. Cyndi Kate. The he got it! Yeah, he’s smart. And we both laughed.
I’ve always liked names starting with K. When I was younger, my alias would be Katherine & Kathy for pestering DJs over the phone and Kate in chat rooms. He knows that very well, coz that’s how he first knew me, as Kate.
Poor kid, she’ll grow up getting a lot of jeers and taunts from schoolmates for having such a name – Cyndi Kate. Hahaha Do you have any clue why everybody would laugh at it?
