My Stalker

We met two years ago.  I remember walking inside the room, graciously welcomed by all, except by him.  He just timidly gazed at me without a word. He was probably sizing me up, wondering who this stranger is.

The days passed, and our paths would always cross. I can sense that he's used to my presence and probably getting to like me. Hahaha now I'm being conceited! It wasn't difficult to like him.  He's cute, he has dark brown eyes that can melt your heart. I know, he has this capability of swooning the female specie with his charms. Too bad our mutual attraction has to end, as I had to leave.

So, it's inevitable that we would meet again.  He still remembers me! Great!  We quickly got along pretty well.  I can say we became buddies. He makes me smile and keeps me company. Or is it the other way around?Nonetheless, I'm grateful that he's.. just there with me. And in return, I gave him the attention and care he needed.

But then I started to feel that he is following me around.  When I'm busy tapping in the notebook, I could see from the corner of my eye that he's sitting or standing nearby, afraid to lose me from his sight. When I'm eating, I can feel him silently watching my every bite. If you know Sting's  "Every Breathe You Take" song, that's probably the situation he's at. He's just around somewhere, spying on me! He even made his fondness for me known to Martin! Ah, what a guy! At first, it was flattering and amusing. But later, I found it irritating especially when I want to have my privacy. I want to have my own world, away from him so I shut him out.  Sometimes I deliberately let him feel that I'm annoyed with his presence. It must be hurting him.

Oh Vily, I'm sorry if I hurt you. But now that you smell good, I might start playing with you again, let you sleep in our bed and take you out for a walk. =)
